Abstract :
In addition to the spatial location information of the target obtained by the sensors for data association, other information about the target features is also included. Two already known methods which applied amplitude information to data association, amplitude likelihood function method and amplitude state vector method, and their performance are analyzed in this paper. Then we propose a new method named relative amplitude function based data association approach, which chooses the measurement whose amplitude value is nearest to the predicted one. Finally, the simulation of MHT with amplitude information illustrates the effectiveness of proposed method, which can effectively improve the performance for data association under dense clutter.
