Abstract :
A new robust algorithm based on second order cone program, which can get arbitrary sidelobe shape, is proposed for the problem of high sidelobe caused by nonuniform array configuration for MIMO radar. The new method firstly estimate the signal steering vector blindly by the numeration of fourth order Cumulants. By imposing a bound on the error between the estimated signal steering vector and actual signal steering vector and adding multiple quadratic inequality constrains to sidelobe regions, the method, suppressing interference efficiently and retaining antenna gain of expectant aspect, achieves desired and controllable arbitrary sidelobe shape in the presence of vector mismatches. The optimization model can be converted into convex second order cone programming issue, which can be solved using the existing interior method. Computer simulations demonstrate that the proposed method can overcome vector mismatches caused by blind estimation of the signal steering vector and array position, which achieves the lower arbitrary sidelobe shape and gets better robustness and higher SINR. Simulation results verify that the proposed algorithm is effective.
