Abstract
The cross-correlation interference among radars in formation of aircraft is so severe that deteriorate detecting performance of the radar. The recently proposed reiterative Maximum Signal Minus Interference Level (RMSMI) algorithm has been shown to successfully suppress both range sidelobes and mutual interference. This paper examines the performance of the RMSMI combined with different adaptive beamformers under the weibull distribution clutter. It is demonstrated that RMSMI with adaptive beamformer still maintains excellent interference suppression performance in weibull distribution clutter environment. The algorithm with MaxSIR beamformer outperforms that with LCMV beamformer.
