Abstract
In this paper, graphics processing unit (GPU) is employed to accelerate LU decomposition for solving the matrix equation obtained from Method of Moments (MoM) with higher-order basis function. A computer, with a 6-core CPU, a Quadro 4000 GPU card and a Tesla C2050 GPU card, is used as the platform to run the simulations. Numerical results indicate that the speed of using six CPU cores with a Tesla C2050 GPU card is 2.5 times faster than that of using six CPU cores alone.
