Abstract
The ICEAA - IEEE APWC - EMS 2013 Young Scientist Best Paper Award was awarded to Dr. Damiano Patron for the paper "Improved design of a CRLH leaky-wave antenna and its application for DoA estimation" co-authored by H. Paaso, A. Mammela, D. Piazza, and K. Dandekar. The announcement and presentation of the award were made at the ICEAA - IEEE APWC - EMS 2013 banquet on September 11, 2013, where the winner received a certificate and a prize of 800 Euro donated by the ICEAA Organizing Committee.
