Abstract
Discretization effects in sliding mode control systems with a delay are studied. We investigate the existence of periodic solutions, the influence of the delay on the period and amplitude of steady state oscillations, and the structure of basins of attraction of different periodic orbits. Theoretical results are illustrated with simulation examples.
