Abstract
A broadband signal beam-forming using rotational signal subspace method based on the estimation of the optimal focusing frequency is proposed in this paper. This method is by determining the optimal focusing frequency, so that each subband of the broadband signal is focused on the optimal focusing frequency by using the focusing matrix, and then the conventional delay-and-sum beam-forming algorithm is employed to complete the constant beam width beam-forming. The simulation results show that, in the case of broadband, all the width of main beam array output, the sidelobe level and the beam pointing can keep in a constant value.
