  • Abstract
    This paper attempts to summarize some of the discussions that took place during the “Rump” Session at the 2012 International Semiconductor Laser Conference. The discussion mostly centered around the topic of how one can identify lasing in a given structure, and how one might differentiate between the different kinds of possible light emission.
