Abstract
This paper deals with an analytical methodology to synthesize microstrip input and output (I/O) matching networks for class F-1 PAs up to the third harmonic using short stubs. Physical dimensions of the microstrip are determined by means of T-parameters. To verify the proposed method, a GaN class F-1 PA was designed at 2.5 GHz. Experimental results show high correlation with simulated data.
