Abstract
In this paper, we study subcarrier allocation and relay selection for uplink transmission in OFDMA-based cognitive radio (CR) systems. We formulate optimization problems to maximize total uplink throughput of secondary users (SUs) in OFDMA-based CR systems. Then, we propose link quality-based (LQB) scheme and minimum interference-based (MIB) scheme, and simulate the proposed schemes with two given environments. The simulation results show that the performance of MIB scheme is better than that of LQB scheme when the constraint for received interference power from SUs at primary receiver is dominant.
