Abstract
Different procedures for electrochemical conditioning aiming the surface activation of gold electrodes were investigated. Experiments were performed to analyze the effects on the surface of the gold electrodes during cycling potential for electrode conditioning. The surface activation in flow using nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide dissolutions allows one to obtain effective area three times better compared to the surface area before the electrochemical conditioning.
