Abstract :
Under certain circumstances it might be desired to perceive stereoscopic content both with and without viewing glasses. It means that the 3D content should be rendered so that along with sufficient depth sensation in 3D presentation, the ghosting artifact of 2D presentation is as transparent as possible. In this paper, we further investigate our previously proposed algorithm to render stereoscopic views targeting acceptable 2D and 3D quality targeting to find the best tuning parameters for the proposed algorithm based on a series of systematic subjective tests. Finally, we conclude the best adjustment parameters in order to achieve best compromise between 2D and 3D subjective quality.
