Abstract :
A novel design of analog front-end for detecting the neural signal is present in this paper. According to the traditional way with sigma delta ADC or pipelined ADC, this paper provides a new method to get better performance. The analog front-end contains low noise operational amplifier and SAR ADC which can be shared by multi channels. The design is verified in SMIC 0.18um CMOS process. The total current of 2 channels is only 2mA that is mainly cost by OPA. This circuit provides the new method to achieve ultra low power in Neural Signal Detection system.
