Abstract
The infrared radiation characteristic of target mainly depends on the temperature distribution and the surface radiation. Therefore, the analysis of surface temperature and the infrared radiation of the target are very important for Infrared simulation. In this paper, based on the finite element analysis software, we focus on the calculation method of the target surface temperature, considering all kinds of boundary conditions, including convection, radiation, and friction to heat and so on, and calculate the infrared radiation of the target. Take automobile tires for example, we establish its finite element analysis model, calculate its temperature distribution, and then obtain its infrared gray image based on radial brightness, thereby we demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method.
