  • Abstract
    Bridging the THz gap in the electromagnetic spectrum requires new technological developments ranging from basic THz elements, like detectors and oscillators, to THz systems, like spectrum analyzers, and imagers. As an example of these new approaches from the field of superconducting electronics, we present our recent developments in Hilbert-transform and admittance spectral analysis, which are based on nonlinear dynamics in high-Tc Josephson junctions, and demonstrate applications in characterization of THz radiation sources, antenna network analysis and detection of liquids.
