Abstract
A 0.15-μm pHEMT 25-to45-GHz wideband 45° power divider with continuously tunable phase and gain differences is presented in this paper. This circuit includes a modified Wilkinson power divider with wide isolation bandwidth. Also, a phase-compensated technique is utilized to maintain constant phase difference in each phase step over a wide bandwidth. The gain and phase errors are better than 1.3 dB and ±2.5°, and the insertion loss, return losses, and isolation of this phase shifter are better than 3.7 dB, 10 dB and 19 dB, respectively, from 25 to 45 GHz.
