Abstract
Energy of mechanical vibration is not used effectively. The linear generator is considered to generate electrical energy from various mechanical vibrations. This experimental device consists of a mechanical vibration generation part and a linear generation one. Various vibrations are measured and reproduced in the vibration generation part. And this mechanical vibration generator is connected to the mover of the linear generator. To improve the efficiency of the linear generator, design of the field magnet and the stator coil of are studied by numerical analysis. The linear generator using the improved configuration shows better characteristics than the previous one.
