Abstract
Interferometric imaging holds the potential for significant improvements in capability for compact, close range millimeter-wave imaging sensors. This paper reviews the fundamental principles of interferometric imaging. Standard imaging array designs and their effect on resulting images are discussed, and simulated reconstructions of notional scenes are presented.
