  • Abstract
    A novel printed monopole antenna based on complementary openings resonance ring for WiMAX application is presented. The proposed antenna is successfully designed and measured, which provides frequency band from 5.405~5.595GHz. By adjusting the size of the CSRR, small size antenna of 25×25×0.8mm3 and 6.4dBi of relative high gain are achieved. The results show the proposed antenna is suitable for WiMAX application.
