Abstract
A multiregion model is applied to analyze transient composite scattering from a target located above a randomly rough surface. In the multiregion model, the target and center regions of the rough surface are chosen as the dominant regions and handled by time domain electric field integral equation. The electric currents on the other regions are approximately calculated based on the magnetic-field integral equation, considering the mutual coupling between different regions. Numerical results demonstrate the accuracy and high efficiency of the multiregion model.
