Abstract :
Because of bi-frequency (BF) control technology for continuous conduction mode (CCM) switching DC-DC converter appearing low-frequency oscillation phenomenon, so that bi-frequency control technology is just used in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) and the improvement of output power is limited. In this paper, bi-frequency control technology for pseudo continuous conduction mode (PCCM) switching DC-DC converter is studied to solve this problem, the reason of appearing the low-frequency oscillation phenomenon is analyzed operating in CCM, the principle of Bi-frequency control technology and the stable range of output power is illustrated operating in PCCM. Simulation and experiment shows that bi-frequency control technology for PCCM Buck converter has a good effect to suppress the low-frequency oscillation phenomenon and provide higher output power.
