Abstract
Vision is the most important part of human life as most of the information human being gets is via sight from the environment. Designing devices for the blind is more difficult than many researchers and inventors expect. It is thus important to learn from past research and development in this field for the blind and old age people to fully understand their needs and requirements before creating any aid for them. The aim of this paper is to develop the intelligent aid to help and to make them feel independent and to walk more confidently. It works by giving users adequate warning of obstacles ahead of them in their path and at head height.
