Abstract
The application of the wavelet transform to the solution to the problem of pulse propagation in coaxial waveguide is described. The wave equation on the vector potential is solved using series expansion by eigenfunctions on radius variable, the Fourier transform on the longitudinal variable and wavelet transform on the time variable. The required function is calculated numerically as double improper integral of the wavelet image that derived analytically.
