  • Abstract
    This paper presents a two-dimensional spectral analysis of the different electromechanical field variables, such as flux density and stress tensor waves, existing in induction motors having a broken cage. The analysis is carried out by comparing a healthy and broken cage induction motor. After the analysis, this work concludes that there are two types of waves related to the broken cage fault.
