Abstract

For implementing the jewelry image barcode recognition in the web environment, based on the web service technology, an online jewelry image barcode recognition service is developed by the encapsulating of the local barcode recognition software. Then the service can recognize the jewelry serial number which describes with barcode in the jewelry image. The practicability and validity of the online barcode recognition service is verified through the application in the jewelry inspection business management system.
