Abstract
The selection of coal suppliers directly affect the daily business operations and economic benefits of thermal power enterprise. Choosing appropriate coal suppliers and ensuring the long-term stable coal sources, is very important to sustainable development of enterprises. In this paper, according to the characteristics of coal suppliers, we establish the evaluation index system including four primary index and seven sub-indicators, and use the AHP to comprehensively evaluate this system. Evaluation results show that the purchase price, recoverable reserves, design capacity, the transportation distance and suppliers credibility are key factors of selecting the coal suppliers for the thermal power enterprise.
