  • Abstract
    Cloud computing is a flexible IT model. It is characterized by rapid elasticity, measured service, on-demand self-service, broad network access, resource pooling. Five elements are required for agricultural economy informatization: lower cost of the construction, easy access and easy operation, variance with different time, variance with different places, and variance with types of products. Characteristics of cloud computing are accord with the requirements of agricultural economy informatization in China. The application of cloud computing in agricultural economy will open up a vast range of prospects, such as the vast storage of agriculture informatization, the cloud management of agricultural production process, the online cloud storage of agricultural economy informatization, early-warning and policy-making based on the agricultural products market, the tracing management of agricultural products quality.
