Abstract
In this paper, we describe an opportunistic relaying scheme in cooperative cognitive radio networks. We propose an optimal relay selection policy that can maximize the data rate of the secondary users (SUs). with the proposed policy, we analyse the outage probability of the SUs. We derive the upper and lower bounds of the outage probabilities. Simulation results show that the SUs can achieve high data rate with the proposed relay selection policy, and outage probability of theoretic analysis matches the simulation very well.
