Abstract :
A new CMOS-based class AB differential input/output current-controlled current amplifier is described. The design technique is achieved by the combination of a class AB squaring circuit and current mirrors. The current amplifier has features of linear current gain controllability and low power consumption. Its current gain can linearly and electrically controlled by DC current (0.1μA - 400μA). The characteristics and performances of this circuit are confirmed through PSPICE simulation results.
