  • Abstract
Chaotic FM signal is a kind of pseudo random signal that can obtain high resolution and good electronic counter-counter measure (ECCM) in radar imaging comparing with linear frequency modulation signal (LFM). In this paper, Chaotic FM signal is utilized as a signal source for high resolution spaceborne SAR. However, unlike LFM, the chaotic FM signal is a kind of Doppler-sensitive signal and the traditional “stop-go” assumption can´t be applied in high resolution spaceborne SAR due to Doppler Effect in fast time domination. So we should analyze the reasons and demonstrate the error bought by “stop-go” model.
