  • Abstract
    Nowadays a number of large enterprises leading in energy service are working on developments targeting the so-called e-energy topic area. E-energy establishes the energy marketplace of the future using cutting-edge information and communication technology and allows consumers to become active participants in the market by controlling their consumption. The increasing popularity of cloud computing has begun the development of cloud technology based energy management applications. This paper demonstrates the potential of smart meters and cloud-based technology to propagate the e-energy services.
