Abstract
Development of a household assistant robot has been advanced in tasks which researchers in robotics had imagined useful. This is just engineering approach for a household assistant robot. It is necessary to examine the psychological aspects of consumers, safety, effectiveness in order to a robot come into use in the household environment. Effectiveness and structure of household assistant tasks with a robot have to be evaluated from other point of view. Home economics is a field of study suitable for evaluating assistant tasks in the household environment. How household assistant robots improve individual life and what kind of household task is effective for the actual household environment should be verified from the point of view of home economics. Collaboration robotics and home economics researchers will not only improve both fields but make a impact to the real world for providing social assistant robot to the home. It can improve and management individual life.
