  • Abstract
    Matching circuit can be used not only to improve the degree of coupling between the driving circuit and the ultrasonic motor, but also to reduce the power loss of the circuit by the tuning function themselves. The shunt inductance matching, series inductance matching and leakage inductance matching have been introduced in this paper. Some simulation and experiments have been finished to verify this view by the driving voltage waveform and the spectrum for RTWUSM which is the most widely used USM in industrial applications. All these can apply one conveniently driving circuit for researching the characteristic of RTWUSM.
