  • Abstract
Microoptical elements like coupling or condenser lens arrays are industrially applied since years for improving the features of optical systems (e.g. optical communication lines, lithography machines). The launch of wafer-level fabricated front cameras in consumer products like cell phones is a breakthrough for microoptical systems. The advances in the explored microoptics technology (polymer-on-glass) are the base for next microoptics based consumer products to market in the coming years.
