Abstract :
Build-up light extraction substrates and high performance all-phosphorescent white OLEDs were investigated. The light extraction substrate was composed with high refractive index layer and texture on a glass substrate. As a result, high efficacy of 114 lm/W and long half-decay lifetime of 100,000 h at 1,000 cd/m2 device with the emissive area of 1 cm2 was achieved. We also achieved high performance OLED device with the emissive area of 25cm2, whose performance was equivalent with a 1cm2-sized device.
