Abstract :
Investigations into a device that separates one input signal into two signals of equal power, namely 3dB power divider, were carried out. This paper presents 3dB power divider using double layer metal slotted structure without any dielectric plate. The proposed structure with low coupling effect operates at 54GHz and has a 2GHz bandwidth. All the operating principles and simulation characteristics of the device are discussed in this paper.
