Abstract :
This paper presents a new adaptive hysteresis band control (AHBC) technique for hysteresis DC-DC buck converter, which can adaptively adjust the hysteresis band according to input and output voltages. This technique was designed by PSIM. Simulation results show that the proposed AHBC has lower output ripple than the constant hysteresis window technique when output capacitance reduces. Although the load was changed, the constant switching frequency can be kept. The steady state ripple voltage of the proposed converter is also better than the conventional PWM converter.
