Abstract
This paper addresses a new technique for fault detection and estimation in Lipschitz nonlinear systems influenced by bounded disturbances. A robust adaptive nonlinear observer is designed for this purpose, the stability conditions of this robust adaptive observer based on Lyapunov technique are derived using linear matrix inequality approach. A numerical example is provided which the nonlinear terms depend on unmeasured state and simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of proposed method.
