Abstract
In this study wide angle scanning capabilities of a conformal array on a spherical surface is investigated. Also the effect of adding a conical skirt on the spherical surface is studied. It is found that for a given scan angle, modifying the weights of some of the elements, the grating lobes can be considerably suppressed.
