Abstract :
This paper presents a compact ultra wideband (UWB) bandpass filter with improved passband response. The filter is designed by cascading two parallel stub loaded resonators. Six transmission poles are obtained in the passband, covering 3.8 to 10.6 GHz with a fractional bandwidth of 107.14%. The passband of the filter is also satisfying FCC´s indoor limit. To make the fabrication process less complicated and less costly, the minimum strip width and gap width are kept above 0.1 mm.
