  • Abstract
A new methodology is developed for drying the grains by using difference in air humidity at inlet and outlet section of the drying chamber. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is used to control the entire drying procedure automatically. The use of grain dryers will reduce the environmental dependence for the drying process and its automation will make drying more efficient and uniform, thus saving energy and catering to the user´s requirements. It will also reduce the cost in grain drying.
