Abstract :
This paper presents the power-quality measurement results of Jang-Bin wind farm (WF) in Taiwan. This 46-MW wind farm with twenty-three 2-MW doubly-fed induction generators (DFIGs) is connected to Jang-Bin extra high-voltage substation of Taiwan Power Company (TPC) through six feeders and a step-up main transformer of three-phase, 23/161-kV, 60-MVA. The measured data were recorded during August 6-13, 2013 and the recorded results consisted of three-phase voltages, currents, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, frequency, current harmonics, voltage flicker, and voltage variations. It can be concluded from the measured results that the power quality of the studied wind farm can meet the grid code of TPC.
