An overview of open-source virtualization technology

Cloud Computing is one of the most popular technology appearing in the last five years, which has been expected to bring a new revolution of the IT industry. Along with the development of Cloud computing, a low-cost solution is fully discussed and explored, among which, open-source software is considered to be one of the most important key to budget cutting. This paper focuses on the integration of open-source virtualization management software with the practical requirements. Several existing mainstream open-source virtualization software have been analyzed in detail, which can be used as a follow-up system design or a reference implementation.
