Abstract
This contribution presents some results of the project "Sapere Tecnico Condiviso" (Shared Technical Knowledge), with a focus on its target, peculiarities and actualization problems. The STC project deals with the preservation of archival documents in the architectural domain, such as old plans, historical projects and designs of Sicilian heritage. The aim is to realize an online platform and store the digital copies of private, professional and public archives. The challenge is developing a real network for researchers, workers and public administrations, a sort of "peer to peer" system for architectural and historical knowledge and to preserve some evidences of the past, matter of importance for refurbishment interventions.
