Abstract
The main problem of PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) temperature control is that periodic change of the temperature leads to the changes in system characteristics, which requires PID (Proportion Integration Differentiation) parameters adjusted automatically. This article has researched various PID turning methods at home and abroad, based on which an adaptive fuzzy PID control method is proposed. Factors affecting the performance of the fuzzy controller are analyzed, and parameters that need to be adjusted to optimize the controller are determined as well. Finally, in this paper, an experiment is conducted to compare the performance of a PID controller and the adaptive fuzzy PID controller, which testifies that after using the adaptive fuzzy PID control method, the heating and cooling rate, the overshoot and the accuracy have all been improved significantly, and this adaptive fuzzy control method can satisfy the demand of PCR temperature control.
