Abstract
In Power Electronics (PE), discrete components are generally integrated into distinctive functional modules such as active power modules and passive power modules. This paper aims to study and optimize these last ones, with a special focus on the realization of integrated capacitive components since, among all the passive components used, capacitors usually represent the largest volume and weight. Thanks to the ferroelectric ceramic material used and to an optimized process flow, a reduction in volume and dimension are gradually obtained.
