Abstract :
Most of the research on multi-unit fingerprint recognition at the moment, due to the lack of corresponding data, is based on simulated data or virtual human rather than genuine multi-unit data. On the basis of the genuine multi-unit fingerprint data from a subset of MCYT-Fingerprint database, this paper studies the fusion algorithm of multi-unit fingerprint recognition and proposes an improved Sum rule for multi-unit biometric systems. Experiment results show that the improved Sum can gain better performance.
