Causes analysis and countermeasures of large-scale wind turbine network removal

For several large-scale accidents of Jiuquan wind power base in 2011, the reason is inter-phase short circuit fault caused by wind farm electrical equipment failure according to the field survey and record data analysis, which caused drop of station and system voltage. During this phrase, many fans are off network because of their less of low voltage cross capability. According to this, improvement of wind turbine, wind farm collector system and protection configuration is proposed from project application aspect, combining with the characteristics of large-scale wind power base.
