Abstract
Conventional calibration process has cumbersome operation. It requires calibration personnel to possess the necessary skills and expertise. Furthermore, it is difficult for calibration service units to achieve centralized management of a large number of calibration projects and data. In view of the above problems, the internet-based calibration system is designed in this paper based on the Visual Studio 2008 software platform. The system implements the automation of the instrument calibration process and the database is used to manage the calibration projects, data, records and so on. Through the internet, calibration staffs remotely monitor the clients during their executing of the calibration projects. It is good for saving time and significantly improving the efficiency.
