Abstract
Law grows in volume and complexity in the process of enactment and amendment, it could happen that yesterday´s law is applied differently today. In this circumstance, law search service is necessary so as to appropriately recognize and find law which gets bigger in size and changes continuously. This study aims at providing a general user with easy and convenient service to access professional information such as law. To accomplish an easy and convenient service from user´s perspective, this paper attempts to take diverse technical approaches as follows: (1) construct ontology on professional knowledge area, especially law, (2) access via web which ensures easy access to constructed information, and (3) visualization technology which allows the users to retrieve data conveniently. This service allows the user to check the data with visualized presentation of ontology information and to navigate the information. Those functions indicate that this service focuses on enhancing user convenience from the viewpoint of users in retrieving professional information which might be hard to find and deal with for the general users.
